Bumble Bee Room

Ages: One to 2 1/2 Years Old

Teachers: Miss Sam- Bachelor's Degree, Miss Maddie- New Hire

In our Bumble Bee Room, we focus on helping children develop early communication and social skills in a warm, nurturing environment.

At this stage, many one-year-olds are beginning to use words to express their needs. Our teachers support this growth by encouraging language development through conversation, songs, and interactive activities. We also introduce basic baby sign language, which helps children communicate their needs and feelings even before they fully form words.

As children grow, they begin learning important social skills, such as playing alongside others, sharing toys, and taking turns. These are big milestones for this age group, and our teachers gently guide and encourage them every step of the way.

Story Time and Books

Story time is a favorite activity in the Bumble Bee Room. The children love listening to stories and pointing out the different pictures and objects they see in the books. To make books easily accessible throughout the day, we provide durable, child-friendly books that little hands can safely explore again and again.

Watching these young learners grow, explore, and develop new skills each day is one of the most rewarding parts of what we do.
