Ages: 2 1/2 Years Old and Older

In our Frog Room, children enjoy plenty of opportunities for free play and creative exploration. At the same time, we begin introducing more structured learning activities to help prepare them for the transition to school.

During the day, children practice important classroom skills such as sitting for short periods, listening, and following directions. Through fun and engaging activities, they learn concepts including:

• Days of the week

• Months of the year

• Daily weather observations

• Shapes and colors

• Early learning concepts that build school readiness

Our goal is to help children develop the confidence and foundational skills they will need when they begin school.

Story Time

Story time is a special part of the day in the Frog Room. Children gather together to enjoy stories that spark their imagination and curiosity. Books come to life as our teachers help stories “jump off the page,” encouraging a love of reading and learning.
